Splash

It's a new challenge this today at the Graph'it markers challenge and the theme this time is
ICE OR WATER.

I decided to do something I don't do very often and that's a CAS card. So I've just done a splash of water, clean and simple.

I've coloured my splash with Graph'it pens 7140, 7210, 7220, 9100, blender and a little bit of white shaker pen. The sentiment was just done in a word doc.

Then I've just added a little colour with 2 shades of blue card. It makes a change to make a card quickly.

Pop over to the Graph'it blog and see what inspiration of fellow DT members have for you.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Background Alcohol

I'm sorry this post is a little late but I have had this lovely chesty cough bug that everybody is sharing and I have had a very rough week, so I am really late getting my cards done for the Graph'it Markers Challenge which this time round is Extra FX. So I have created backgrounds using my Graph'it Markers and then done something else to them.

One for the girls

and one for the boys.
I have done them both using similar techniques, but using different colours and patterns.

I have used a mixture of red, pink and yellow for the girls and blue, red, green and yellow for the boys.

I have just taken the different colours and scribbled patches
over different surfaces. I have used gold and silver metal sheets and parchment paper. I have then taken the Graph'it blending solution and sprayed it onto a piece of felt. I have used that to blend the colours together by dabbing the various surfaces. By spraying the blending solution directly onto the inked surface you can get a mottled effect. I have then embossed with folders, die cut or punched the cards, flowers and layers out.

So you don't just have to colour images with your Graph'it pens, you can do other things too.
Please pop over to the challenge page to see all the lovely ideas my fellow team members have to show you and have a go in the challenge too, you may win a lovely prize.

Mistletoe in Pink

It's Crafting Cafe challenge time and this is my card which I hope gives you some inspiration.
The theme this month is Think Pink.
Our sponsors this month are Aurora Wings and this is one of their images called Mistletoe Fairy.

I have coloured her with Graph'it Markers and die cut the image and pink layer, The background card is a scalloped circle which is embossed with snowflaked. I have used distress inks around the edge of Victorian Velvet and Pickled Raspberry.

The added accents are die cut mistletoe with pearl berries. A pink bow, stamped greeting and a little bit of glitter on the boa. Pop over to the challenge blog and join in.

Autumn Florals

It's new challenge time here at Graph'it Markers and this time the theme is autumn colours. That's my favourite colour scheme, so I really enjoyed doing this one. I decided to use a simple flower image so I could showcase the blending well, which I think looks really good.

I have made an easel card base which I have embossed with a leaf embossing folder. The image, sentiment and layers have been die cut using Grande Nestabilities. Then I have added lots of punched out little leaves.

The Graph'it colours I have used are
Leaves - 8290, 8220
Flowers - 4145, 4175, 5110, 5210
Centres - 1180, 1250

Please pop over to the challenge blog and have a look at the other ideas from my fellow DT mates and join in yourselves you may win a fabulous prize.
