Birthday Bunting

My card for the new Challenge at
which is Always Anything Goes.

This followed on from from doing my last project, the mixed media canvas. I decided to carry on in the same sort of mode and made this quite simple inky birthday card.

I have just used distress inks, stencils and background stamps to layer up the background. Then the bunting and letters are die cut.

It was really quite quick to do But I really liked it a good mans card I feel.

Bunny Love

This is a little late, but we've been away for a couple of days and only just got back.
This is my inspiration for the new challenge at Make my Monday.
The theme is Animal Antics.

I'm not looking forward to winter and cold weather so I decided to bring a bit of spring sunshine to the challenge. It's either late from spring gone or a wish of spring to come.

I've used a Lily of the Valley stamp and coloured it with alcohol pens.

There is a patterned paper background from Basic Gray.
I have added a doily to the top left corner and some daffodils which are really spring flowers.

The sentiment is from Stampin Up. Plus a matching yellow ribbon bow.

Strawberry Patch

It's Time for a new challenge over at

The theme this time round is
Something for a child

This is such a cute image of a little girl with her Strawberries. She is called Strawberry Girl and is from Mo Manning. I have die cut her out and layered the image on to Marianne die. The background is a nice coordinating stripy paper. And there is a little bow in the corner decorated with a strawberry button. The image has also been done using distress inks. The beach huts have been stamped in grey Archival and the tall grasses in brown Archival. I have coloured the beach huts with pencils. The word seaside is on a hand cut tag with die cut letter. I like the effect from using soft, hazy colours.
